Questions, Answers, and Frosty Paws

I have been tagged by Jazz and Dixie to answer these 5 questions! Here I go...

1.
Where is your favorite place to sleep?

I sleep in many places... but my most favorite one of all is underneath Lizzy's blankets on her bed. Lizzy wonders how I can still breath under the thick blankets all night.

2. Is there a specific trick your humans make you do to get treats?
Oh yes, lots. Sit, lie down, roll over, high five, shake a paw, play dead, jump, speak, spin, turn, stay, dance, and many more.

3. If you could spend an entire day doing anything at all with anyone what would you do and with whom?
Oh boy... this is a hard question! Well, I'd love to go to the beach and Lizzy and her mom, or I'd love to go for walks around the neighborhood with Lizzy and her mom, or I'd love to do agility all day with Lizzy and her mom, or I'd love to chase my tennis ball all day with Lizzy and her mom, or I'd love to go on a car ride with Lizzy and her mom, or I'd love to cuddle all day with Lizzy and her mom, ...

4. What is your favorite toy?
Tennis balls and cats! Cats are fun to scare, and tennis balls are great for rolling under a low couch so that I can't reach them and then I have to get my humans attention so they can get the tennis ball out from under the couch for me so that I can roll it under again.

5. If you could change one thing in your life, what would you change?
Hmm... Well, I'd probably change it so that my humans have to take me for lots of long walks every single day.

Guess what? Lizzy made me my very first frosty paws! I was so excited! She gave me one a couple days ago when it was hot outside, and it was so good... It was peanut butter flavored.

Of course, Lizzy made me sit and wait forever while she fiddled with her camera to take a picture of me.

Then finally, she said "okay" and I started licking my treat. I tried to eat it whole, but it was too cold and big, so I just licked it and licked it.

I actually didn't even finish it, because it was so big and I got full. Lizzy said next time she'll make it smaller.

Did you know... that my birthday is coming up very soon? It's on August 15th, that's only 16 days away! Woohoo! And guess how old I'll be? Can't guess? I'll tell you. I'll be 3!
"Lizzy speaking. Sparky, you're not turning 3. Stop lying to all your friends."
What? Lizzy, go away. I'm trying to update a blog here.
"Sparky, I'm helping you update your blog. You have to tell the truth."
Hmph. Fine then... I'm turning 4!
"Sparky... don't lie... or else I might not take you on a walk today."
Um... Lizzy, you're so mean. Okay everydog, I'm turning 5! Now, no bugging me about my old age.
"Sparky! Just spit out the truth. How would you feel if your friends lied to you?"
Ugh! Alright, alright! I'll tell the truth! And then Lizzy, you'd better get out of here! Okay... I'm turning 6! Yes, 6! I may be old, but I still look young!
"Except for the grey hairs that are forming on your eyebrows."
LIZZY! Go away! You're embarrassing me! And it's not grey hairs, it's grey paint from rubbing against the freshly painted walls in your room!
"That's true, but all the paint has washed off and you still have grey hairs on your eyebrows. Like it or not, you're getting old."
I am not! Just... just... go away. Please. Before I really lose my temper.
"Alright, alright. Just remember to always tell the truth."
Yeah, yeah... good, she's gone now. Do your humans ever get this annoying? So now you all know... I'm turning 6. I'm old. I'm grey. And I'm embarrassed to have been caught in a lie. Oh well...

By the way, I am very sorry to hear that Oscar has left us. I never even met him yet, but I miss him terribly. At least he's having a good time in heaven now.

Just Some Pictures and Videos

Well there's not much I'm going to say today, because it's finally sunny and Lizzy just has to take me for a walk! And I want her to take me soon! So I'll make this post short... I'll just post some pictures and videos.

Here I am, holding a picture of myself.

This is White Cat and I.

Here I am, "grazing like a cow", as Lizzy puts it.

More grass eating pictures...

Okay, here's a couple videos of me doing some tricks Lizzy taught me.

This one is my favorite....

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and videos! Now I'm off to find Lizzy and I'm going to make her take me for a walk!

The weekend is here, and I am bored. It's raining, rain rain rain. Wouldn't it be really cool if it rained cats and dogs? That would be so awesome!

Well, since there's nothing else to do, I'll share an old video of myself playing with my pink balloon. It's very sad because I popped it, but then I found a new balloon! So I was happy again... Until I popped that one as well. Anyway, here's the video!

Fun at Family Camp

Sorry I haven't updated for a while. My ears and tail are still Purpley redish... the dye is supposed to come out after ten washes, and so far I've had one bath.

Anyway, I just got back from Family Camp! We do it every year. My humans and I and our whole church go camping together for a weekend. Lizzy brought my agility equipment because there was lots of space there to practice. I had a great time showing off to all the people! Here's a couple pictures...

Here I am, ready to run to the jump and fly over!

Look at that air! I actually don't really have to jump that high in agility, I have to jump 16 inches because that's about the height of my shoulders. But I really love jumping, so Lizzy sets up big jumps for me!

I wasn't the only one doing agility. Meet Jake and Dexter, my Cocker Spaniel friends!

This is Jake...

And this is Dexter.

Jake and Dexter have never done agility before. I think they did very good on the jump for their first try!

After jumping, we went to the beach. It was really fun! Jake, Dexter and I chased an orange ball for a long time. Of course, I was much faster than them. No one can outrun me!

Look at me run! Do you think I have some Greyhound mixed in my blood?

Ha! I got the ball first. Jake and Dexter are pretty fast, but no match for me!

Soon Jake and Dexter got tired of playing ball, and played with each other instead while I still chased the ball. They are brothers, so they play fight all the time. Here's Dexter and Jake in the water...

And Jake chasing Dexter...

Near the end of the day at the beach, I was eating lollipops that some humans had dropped on the ground, when this big black dog came up. He looked at a sand sculpture that Lizzy helped her friends make, and he walked around it as if looking for a spot to mark his territory. When he didn't find a good enough spot, he looked behind the sculpture at a yellow bag filled with... um... well I'm not sure what it was filled with, but it was full. I think it was Dexter's owner's bag. I guess the black dog decided it was a much nicer thing to mark his territory on, because that's exactly what he did. Lizzy and her dad saw him do that, and Dad yelled at him and shooed him away. As soon as Dad turned around to find Dexter's owners to tell them what had happened to the bag, I saw my chance. I'm not gonna let some strange dog go mark my friends territory as his own! I'd better do the friendliest thing, and mark it back for Dexter. So that's exactly what I did. By now the bag was pretty wet. Dexter's owner finally came and washed it in the salty beach water. I don't know why she did it... maybe she didn't know that I marked it back for her family? She probably thought it was just the black dog that marked it and she wanted to get rid of his mark. I guess I should have marked it back when she was looking, because then she would know that the black dog's mark is covered up and she wouldn't have to wash it out. Oh well.

Well, we had a great time at Family Camp. But it sure feels good to be home where I can chase my cats and terrorize the mailman some more!

You Know You're Cool...

...When your tail is Purple! (And white, and red, and yellow...)

Well, it actually looks more red than purple, but the dye was supposed to be purple, but it turned out red, but it's almost the same color as my brown fur, and it's pretty hard to tell that my tail is actually dyed, especially hard to tell it was supposed to be dyed purple, and it's actually not dyed just purple, it also has red and white and yellow in it, but the red and yellow and white are actually not dye, they are paint, because Lizzy and her mom are painting a room, and I got into the paint, so I got painted, so now my tail is purple and red and white and yellow, but you can't see it all in the picture because the paint is on the other side of my tail where the dye isn't, but my tail is really colorful now, and I say it looks awesome!

My ears were dyed purple (red) too.

I got dyed because Lizzy's sister and her friend were dying their hair, and then they saw me, and decided to dye my hair too. Don't I look so cool?

Now, I have been tagged my Amici to post 7 things about myself, and by Tasha and Eva to share a little bit about my human family. So first, 7 things about myself...

1. I love tummy rubs. I mean, really love them! When someone gives me a tummy rub, and then stops, I'll pull their hand back to my tummy.

2. I am good at climbing.

3. I like other humans more than other dogs. (I still love dogs, though!)

4. Whenever I hear the sound of someone flopping down on a couch or chair, I come running to jump up and cuddle with them.

5. I love terrorizing the mailman.

6. I never get tired of chasing tennis balls.

7. My favorite place to be in hot wheather is under the couch. It's cooler under there.

And now, a little bit about my human family...

Lizzy and Mommy are my favorite humans. Lizzy is my photographer, she helps me with my blog, she trains me for agility, and lots more. Lizzy is 14 years old.

I have always loved Lizzy's mom since I was a puppy. It must be because I wouldn't eat when I moved into my new home with Lizzy's family, and so Mommy had to feed me with kibble in her hand. Ever since then, I have loved her. But I still won't eat kibble.

Lizzy has 4 other siblings, they are Joey, age 10, Esther, age 12, Timmy, age 21, and Ben, age 25. Ben just got married to Michelle. Michelle is one of my favorite humans.

And last but not least, there's Daddy. Daddy is best at throwing my tennis ball. He's fun to play with.

That's all I'll share about my family for now. Now I'm off to check my doggie friends blogs!
