He Lied... Again...

Now I am never listening to the weather man again. He said it was supposed to snow over the last few days, and do you know what? It didn't snow, is sunned! That's right, no snow, not even rain, but bright sunlight! I guess the sun is better than rain, but it's still disappointing when you're looking forward to snow.

Lizzy and I went out into the back yard since the sun was so nice. I saw the big black funny thing and jumped in, ready for a ride! Unfortunately she didn't give me any rides this time, but she took pictures. Will this camera phase with Lizzy ever end? Look at me, can't you see I'm waiting for a ride inside this big black funny thing? Hey, maybe this big black funny thing would make a good spaceship for Ben Ben's party!


Lizzy decided she also wanted pictures of my jumping skills. Ha! Good luck with that, Lizzy. I'm so fast you can barely see me! See that blurry thing in the corner? That's me!


I got 3 more Christmas cards today. They're coming fast now! I've sent out 20 cards so far, and I can send out about 10 more. Unfortunately the rest of you will have to settle for the e-cards... Sorry about that. Better than nothing though, right?

...Snow?

It was supposed to snow last night. It was supposed to snow here, right at my house! I was gonna play in it today. But guess what? The weather man lied. Okay, so it did snow on the next hill... and everywhere else... but not here! I was so disappointed when we woke up to find that there wasn't any snow on the ground. I'm never listening to the weather man again!

But guess what? It's supposed to snow again tonight! I can't wait! Tomorrow I can probably play in it! Well no, not probably, but I will play in it! And it's supposed to snow again on Saturday too! Oh, this is so exciting! I can't wait for the snow!

Okay, fine, I listened to the weather man again. But if he's wrong again, then I'll never listen to him again!

Speaking of snow, which means winter, which mean Christmas, which means Christmas cards, guess what I got today? Yes, I got my first card! It's from Lenny! I've never met Lenny before, but I am glad to have met him now! Oh, by the way... it turns out I might not be able to send cards to all of you. I'll try my best, but if not, you'll definitely be getting an e-card from me. I know e-cards aren't the same, but that's just how it's gonna have to be... but I'll really try my best to send a real card to you all!

Today we went to the pond again. I was happily playing with my ball on the soggy grass...


When all of a sudden a big, nosey dog butted his way into my fun. Excuse me, what exactly are you doing?


But as quick as he came, his owner took him home. I think his owner was afraid I would beat him up or something. And if he hung around any longer, I might have done just that. I know it's not very nice, but nothing can come between me and my ball. Unless it's ducks. I had fun chasing those silly birds today.

Cards, Cards, and More Cards!

Lizzy and I are making all the DWB Christmas cards at home, so it's taking quite a while! But we hope everyone will like them!

When we went to the pond the other day, Lizzy brought a Santa hat to put on me and take pictures. Let me tell you, I did not like that. As I told you before, it was a cold day, and I just couldn't sit still long enough on the cold ground for her to take my pictures. What's even worse, she wanted me to lie down! There was no way I was gonna lie down on the almost frozen, muddy ground. She finally gave up on that, and just snapped some pictures of me when I was standing. The Santa hat kept on falling off, but we managed to get a few good shots.


We're gonna use one of the pictures to put on the cards we're making for everyone!

Woof Woof!

I'm back everydog! Sorry I haven't posted or visited your blogs for over a week. On Sunday I decided to have a little break from the blogging world. On Monday I decided to make that a two day break. On Tuesday I decided one more day wouldn't hurt. And now, it's been almost 2 weeks! My goodness, the time sure flies by! But I'm back, and I'll try to stay back!

My good friends, Sparky, Ginger, and Crikit, gave me this awesome award! Thank you so much! It made my day!

River!

Yesterday we went back up to the pond for a walk. It was a cold day! It got down to -2 (Celsius). I hope it snows soon! Anyway, to warm myself up at the pond, I chased my ball! Lizzy snapped a few pictures of me and my ball.


Well, I'd better go start making Christmas cards! I've got a lot to send out this year... I'm so glad I joined in the the DWB Christmas card exchange! I hope you all have a great week!

Fat Cat and the String.

I would like to give Charlie a big thank you for his advice on how to get my burger back from Fatso (White Cat). However, I actually got my burger back in a different way! If I had thought of this way before, I would have gotten it a lot sooner. Anyway, after a while of staring at White Cat and my burger, my humans starting filling the cat food bowl with cat food. As you all know, that Fatso loves food, so he forgot all about my burger and ran to his food bowl. And I, waiting 'till he got out of my sight, scooped up my burger and chewed on it happily for the rest of the afternoon. (And yes, White Cat is very fat, and yes, he weighs more than I do)

Remember a while ago I was saying that I think I might be a cat? 'Cause I can climb like one, jump like one, I eat cat food, I sleep like a cat, and all those cat-type things... You all reassured me that I was a dog, but please reassure me again... I hate cats, but I'm feeling more like one than ever...



Before I leave, I'd just like to wish Lizzy's sister, Esther, a happy birthday today! Esther's turning 13. Happy birthday Esther!

The Fat Thief

I knew it! I knew that fat thing was a thief! Look, see what he's got? It's my burger! He stole it from me!

I'd try to take my burger back, but he'd use his claws on me!

When he found out it wasn't a real burger, he decided to keep it as some kind of decoration to go on his fat stomach.

Stupid White Cat! That beluga! He's so fat he can't even get back up on his feet. Serves him right for stealing my burger.

Can anydog help me get my burger back?

Food...

Ever had one of those days where you really want some of your human's food but they just won't give it to you?

Some dogs say the puppy eyes always work. Some say whining and begging will work. And some say you just gotta wait until your human's head is turned, and then you gotta grab the food as fast as you can. That's probably the best way to get the food. But... did you know there is still one more trick? It's a little trick White Cat (Fatso, Beluga, Chubs, ...) taught me. You wanna know what it is? It's staring at the food. And you know what? It doesn't work.

I keep on telling myself, "Don't listen to the cat, don't listen to the cat", and yet I always listen to the cat. I gotta get rid of that evil, fat cat one day... Anyway, White Cat told me how staring at things always makes you get your way. He stares at his food bowl, and it fills up. He stares at the door, and it opens. He stares at humans, and they pet him. Sometimes when he's staring at something, it'll take just a few minutes to happen, or it'll even take hours. But it always works. So he taught me how to stare at food. Since the staring trick works for White Cat, why not for me, too?

So I stared. And stared. (Can you see me?)

And I stared some more.

And, as I told you earlier in this post, it didn't work.

Never listen to a cat.

I Won!

Thank you so much everyone who voted for me in the DWB picture contest! I can't believe I won! I'm so happy! But I can't believe I've wasted all my energy on the excitement of winning. I'm pooped, and I still have agility class tonight! I'll have to take a good nap after this post. I'm sure my energy will come back when I see the tunnels and jumps!

I'm not sure if you all noticed or not, but my hair was gettin' pretty long. That's right, was. I got a haircut today. Another embarrassing one. I'm almost naked, and it's almost winter! Here's what I looked like yesterday...

Now, I look like this. I could never be more humiliated.

At least something good came out of it. I got a blue jacket to help cover up my nakedness, and Lizzy got out my old favorite red sweater! After I got my haircut, Lizzy and I went outside to clean the yard. I had a blast in the leaves! But Lizzy made me stay still long enough to get a couple pictures.

Tomorrow's the weekend again already! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and recover quickly from all that Halloween candy!
