Alright everyone, I know, I've been away again for a very long time! But it's not my fault, really! It's my human Lizzy's fault. She went on her trip (Oh, and no, I was not successful at hiding in her suitcase), and she came back 2 weeks ago already. She has now started school, and she keeps on making the excuse that school is too overwhelming right now so she can't update my blog. Well! I've had enough of that nonsense, so now that Friday is here and she has a whole weekend to blog, I decided to set her down in front of this computer and make her start typing for me! So here I am, with my typist, and we are blogging.
I am sad to report that the season of summer is ending. I've had a fairly wonderful, mostly rainy, summer. Now that school has started, we've been getting warm, sunny weather (The seasons are always mixed up in B.C.!). Even with the warm weather though, the leaves on the trees are starting to turn many colors, and the air is feeling a little crisper in the mornings. We got low, thick fog on Thursday morning for the first time in quite a while.
I must say, I actually rather enjoy Fall! The giant maple tree in the front yard, and the two smaller ones in the back, start dropping down wonderful, bright yellow leaf piles at this time of year. I'm looking forward to eating my once-a-year crunchy yellow and orange maple salad (Yes, maple tree leaves do taste wonderful to us dogs, you guys should try 'em!). Speaking of salad, I have some pictures to share of one of my last summer salads... The grass at the pond has been very green this summer (Thanks to all the rain!), and it tasted so good and juicy! These pictures are from just a few days ago, but now the grass is already turning golden-brown.
Mmmm! Can you see my teeth crunching down on this green goodness?

Need to swallow, lick my my lips...

...And then start eating some more! Notice how my eyes close with pleasure as I devour the juicy salad (Along with all the bugs that like to crawl on the grass).

In this shot, I just discovered that Lizzy was taking pictures of me. I gave her a little evil glare, while slowly slurping up a strand of grass.

Any more green goodness down here?

Gotta eat this all up fast, before the Autumn weather takes it away!

Alright, enough pictures of me eating. I feel like a pig when everyone's watching me.
Now, I'd better leave so that my human can get to bed. I need her to get up early tomorrow morning so that she can catch up on everyone's blogs! I hope you all have a grrrrEAT weekend, and remember to eat your greens!
