It's this time of year...

...Where we can dress up and act like goofs, and not care what others think...

...Where we can decorate anything with Christmas lights and it still looks pretty...
...Where I can lock the stupid cat outside in two feet of snow and not let her in, even if she does the Puss in Boots face from the Shrek movie... (Humans didn't approve. Where's their sense of humor?)

...But most importantly of all, it's this time of year where even on the cold, blue wintry days, we should still be able to find the golden beauty around us...

...The beauty of family, friendships, and love...
....Let's make this Christmas one to remember...

Merry Christmas to you all!

...With love from Sparky and the family.

Look what Fell from the Sky!

It's true! It's true! The weatherman actually told the truth for once! For the past two months, the weatherman kept on saying that it was going to snow the next weekend, and every time the next weekend came, it rained instead. And now... Finally... The weatherman said it was going to snow the next weekend, and it did! And then it snowed more on Tuesday! And it's supposed to snow tons more this weekend!

Oooh man, you guys have no idea how excited I am about this snow. I even got the zoomies, as you can see in this video that my human made HERE.

I walked my humans up the hill to the pond today, and it was -5 degrees Celsius even with the sun shining. The pond is completely frozen!

I wore my blue jacket. It's the same color as the snow in the shade!

The snow is so soft and dry since the temperature has not reached above 0 degrees for a week now. And that's good, 'cause the snow is too dry to clump up around my legs. I look like a snowman when snowballs get clumped up all over me.

The only snowballs on me this week are on my face!

I'm finally done making cards, though I didn't get near as many done as I had hoped. My human got really busy these last couple weeks so she couldn't help me make more cards... And she also couldn't help me blog, which explains why I have been absent for a while now. But anyway, we sent out as many cards as we had time to do, so I hope those of you who get them will enjoy them!

I have some big news that I am also excited about... My grrrrEAT freind Abby has nominated my post, "The Cards are Costing", for DWB Post of the Month! OMDogness, thank you Abby!
Please, everyone, go vote HERE for your favorite post. There's some great posts this month, so look at them all and choose your favorite!

And more big news... My GRRRReat friends from the Brat Pack have nominated me for DWB Photo of the Month! Wow, two nominations in one month?! Thank you so much Brat Pack! I feel so honored, thank you everyone... Again, there are some wonderful photos this month, so please go HERE to vote for your favorite!

The Cards are Costing!

I've been hard at work on making all these Christmas cards this week... Every one of the cards are homemade and have had time and effort put into each one of them...

Today I decided to do the math, to see how many I've sent out already, and how many more I need to make and send out...

I've got the pen and glasses, and my Santa hat for the season of course.

I must look over the list, and check off everyone I've mailed to already, and circle everyone that I still need to mail to.

And now I must add up all the numbers and cards, remembering that the cards going across the ocean will be more expensive... So lets see, a few dollars here, a few dollars there... A few more dollars there... Some more cards mailed here and there, more dollars to pay for stamps... I think I'm just about finished the math now. So, with all the money put together for stamps, this should all add up to...

... Er, let me read this again, it should all add up too... No, no... It can't be... It... it can't... *faints*

Lizzy's Note: I think Sparky just realized that he's going to have to wait 'till around this time next year before he has enough money to buy more treats and toys for himself again.
