At the Pond

Yesterday evening Lizzy, Mom, Dad, Esther, Joey and I all went up the hill to the pond. Lizzy brought my ball and ball thrower, so I could chase my ball! Guess what Lizzy and Dad did to make me get more exercise? They threw my ball all the way across the pond, so I had to run all the way around the pond to get my ball! It was exhausting! They did it over and over and over again. But me, unlike any other dog, can run forever and never get tired (Ignore the "It was exhausting!" sentence I had just said). You might wonder why I didn't swim across the pond to get my ball. Well, I'll tell you why: I didn't feel like it.

So, I chased my ball over and over and over again. Here's a video of me running around the pond. See how fast I am?

I decided to take a break after a while. Not because I'm tired! But because I didn't want Dad's arm to get tired from throwing the ball. Dad threw the ball, while Lizzy took pictures of me.

Here I am, with my ball.

My belly's wet from taking drinks from the pond.

Lizzy made me hide in the grass because she thought it was a cute picture.

After some more ball-throwing, we walked back home. I had a good time at the pond.

Hey Sparky, You really have to try the swimming thing. It's even more fun than the running thing.

p.s. I love the photo of you in the swing from your last post. You are quite the pup!

Wow Sparky,
You have a ton of energy. I got tired from just watching you. You run super fast! I agree with you, I don't 'feel' like swimming often too. Maybe it's a Poodle thing? That photo of you in the grass is really beautiful. What a great photographer Lizzy is.

Take Care!
